Many times in your life you must have utter the phrase “I hate people.” Have you not? Then this article is not for you.
For all those who have yelled this phrase, you are at the right place.
We know that we don’t always mean this sentence, but we cannot help but use them. People who are introverted usually prefer things that don’t require talking to people.
Some may like to go out but only with people they are comfortable with, they are also called “selectively social.”
Some people absolutely hate the idea of going out and talking to people. If you don’t know whether you are an anti-social or not,
Here are 10 signs that will help you figure out:
1. YOU DO NOT LIKE PARTIES:

The primary sign of people who don’t like to be social is that they don’t go to parties or any other public gathering until and unless they are forced.
Even on the weekends they would rather cuddle up in their cozy bed and drink coffee than to go to a pub and get drunk.
2. YOU EXCUSE YOURSELF OUT OF PLANS:

Now, generally, they do not go out, but there are certain occasions they just cannot say no. During such situations, they try to excuse their way out of the plan.
One thing about antisocial people, they are good at such excuses. They would come up with a dentist appointment, or some other appointment to get out of the plan.
3. YOU FEEL RELIVED WHEN PEOPLE CANCEL WITH YOU:

You did not want to go out in the first place. However, the best part is you are not the bad guy in this situation. Little do the other knows that you could not care less if they cancel the plans or not.
4. YOUR FRIENDS CALL YOU ‘HERMIT.’:

You are usually referred to as ‘hermit’ or antisocial among your buddies. Nevertheless, you don’t mind being called antisocial.
You enjoy the company of very few people and always keep a low profile. You hate loud and obnoxious people and try to stay clear from them.
5. YOU ALWAYS LEAVE EARLY:

Whether it is a party or a family gathering, you always leave early. You hate it when your friends and relatives try to introduce it to new people.
So you would sit in a corner where no one spots you and look for the opportunity to make an exit.
6. YOU HATE GROUP TEXT:

If you are antisocial, you would understand how annoying group text can be. Here you are trying to sleep, and your phone would not shut up.
Group conversations become even more irritating over the weekends when the people try to figure out what they want to do on the weekend.
It is impossible to get your work done when your phone keeps buzzing. Besides, all you want to do is sit at your home read a book or watch a movie or something.
7. YOU LOVE NETFLIX MORE THAN PEOPLE:

You never really have this “Should I go out?” sort of a question in your mind. You love the night spent watching a movie or your favorite TV series.
If given a choice between Netflix and people, you would choose Netflix without blinking an eye. I mean why run around blacked out all night when you can just sit in the comfort of your home and relax, right?
8. YOU ASK FOR A CORNER PLACE AT A RESTAURANT:

When you make a reservation at a restaurant, you prefer the corner table away from the crowd. I mean, if I wanted to dine with unfamiliar people I would go to a public restaurant.
You don’t want to hear other people’s conversations when you can barely keep track of yours.
9. YOU HATE FESTIVE GATHERINGS:

Now going to a party with your friend is bad, but having to go to a family gathering is the worst. An antisocial person would understand what I mean by this.
Family gatherings are equal to drama. You would have to meet everyone because your mom said so.
You got to ask them questions you don’t really care about and answer to them. You just cannot wait to go home and enjoy your peace.
10. SARCASM IS YOUR WEAPON:

People who know you well know that you don’t mean any harm. However, individuals who have just met you describe you as discourteous or rude.
So you usually mask your feelings with your sarcastic comebacks. Because if they know how you feel about them, they would probably never speak to you again.
Now you know how to point out an antisocial person. They are not necessarily rude; it is just that they like to keep it low. They like their solitude and comfort zone.
